Following the Curious Collection rejuvenation campaign, Arjowiggins Creative Papers is now launching a global contest based on the same theme, calling on designers to create their own Curious Story, where the paper is the hero! using papers from the Curious Collection. With the aim of promoting new talent within the design community, the inspiring brand is offering designers a chance to be published and get recognition for original and inventive work.
The microsite, www.yourcuriousstory.com has been created to host the contest, showcasing entries in the "Galleryâ€. It contains full details of the contest. All entries will be put forward to national judging panels, in October. Following the selection of local winners, the successful designs will be submitted to the international jury panel in November. The contest will be promoted internationally in magazines, websites and blogs aimed at designers.
The website www.arjowigginscreativepapers.com has been totally redesigned to offer a significantly enhanced online presence that fuels designers with ideas and inspiration by giving useful information on the brands and services such as a paper selector, a tool to create your own envelope and a distributor selector. The ergonomy enables the designers to find the information more easily. The website also gives direct access to the individual brand websites, and is linked to social media networks such as YouTube and Behance. The new website will host the ‘International Design Gallery’, inviting designers worldwide to share their creative projects on the different papers, find ideas and inspiration, and enter contests electing best applications. This creative showcase will allow the exchange of ideas among the design community and provide inspiration to visitors to the site.
