The world's leading manufacturer of technical and creation papers (notably for image enhancement and value protection), Arjowiggins is present in high value-added markets. With 8,000 employees and 35 paper mills (including four in North America, two in Asia and two in Latin America), Arjowiggins generates sales of around €2 billion, mostly on international markets.

There we produce coated papers for the printing and publishing industries (e.g. illustrated books, magazine covers). Coated papers are the medium of choice for four-colour printing. They are white or natural with a finish that may be glossy, semi-matte or matte.

Paper media for orporate communications, advertising and luxury packaging are usually coloured, with smooth or textured finishes and are generally ffset printed. They may also be embossed or gold tooled.
Papers used for corporate communications and carbonless papers are printed and converted by specialty printers.
>Security and Technology
There we produce highly technical papers for a broad range of industries worldwide with very specific needs. Its activities are grouped into 3 areas:
• Security (banknotes, secure documents such as cheque books, biometric passports, playing cards for casinos);
• Industrial (decors for wood panelling, synthetic papers, base papers for abrasive materials, etc.);
• Medical (sterile packaging, sterilization wraps, direct seal and base papers).
